Meet farmer Jack - Published 24th March 2017

It's been hard work for him. His vision is to be able to supply 10 families with organic seasonal vegetables year round. When he started I said I'd buy any excess produce if I could.
One month ago I visited Jack's farm. To get there head out on Parfitt Road and just before the Reedy Creek bridge there's a dirt road to the left and head down there about a kilometre. Look for the rustic sign that says "Natural Produce".

This is the sort of thing that inspires me to change items on our cafe's menu. Pesto made with local organic basil, garlic and King Valley walnuts. Surely it would go with our gnocchi! Jack has been harvesting the basil each week and bringing it to us. We'd process it and freeze it. We now have our supply of pesto and can offer something local to you well into winter.
